Bouygues Energies & Services has a fantastic opportunity available for a Site Procurement & Logistics Manager to work on the Hinkley Point C (HPC) project in Bridgwater. We have been awarded a Turn-key EPC contract for the HPC new-build nuclear power plant Emergency Diesel Generators. The role offers a unique opportunity to work on one of the most exciting and technically challenging projects out there Job Purpose: Manage the logistics required around the site activities. Develop and maintain processes and procedures for Tools, Storage, Consumables, COSHH and Fleet management. Coordinate receiving inspections of equipment and tooling. Maintain stock management database to ensure an accurate and up-to-date record of equipment stock. Process equipment call-off requests from Construction team and interface with Client warehouses to facilitate equipment call-off. Coordinate equipment deliveries from offsite storage to HPC site ensuring required DMS, VMS and magenta route bookings are made. Supplier appraisal, tender preparation, tender assessment, negotiation, contract placement, variation and claim management and performance monitoring. The Role: Organise and Manage the site compound and offsite warehouse by managing associated resources. Define and manage the execution of the working processes related to the scope of work, which includes but not limited to: System assets storage management Site consumables management Tools management Workshop management Near Site Storage Management EDG Assets Management Fleet Site Procurement Facility Management Support installation strategy by prioritising activities accordingly. Develop site management tools and execution documentation (RAMS, plans, procedures…) Coordinating and supervising Project site operations execution within the scope of work. Interface with Customer on site matters and working rules. Ensure that the sub-contractors Health and Safety plan is followed with respect to NNB operational requirements in safety standards and the master construction phase plan. Ensure proper quality control as per the standards for Site Activities. Participate in Site weekly/daily meetings as needed.
