Our client is a sub-contract manufacturing and engineering business based in Tadley, looking for an experienced Goods in/out coordinator to work on the company's ERP systems, manage stock control, procure materials, progress parts through the business, and follow up on orders and quotations.
Job Description
The Goods in/out coordinator will play an integral role in the business, ensuring that parts are moved through the workshop in a timely manner, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring effective management of the company's ERP system. The successful candidate will have the full support of management and the shop floor to ensure customer orders are expedited in a timely manner. This is a hybrid role that involves stock control, purchase orders, along with counting and packing manufactured parts ready to send to customers and suppliers. An example would be to package and send parts to 3rd party suppliers for painting/plating off-site and ensure they are returned on time, working with the inspector to re-package and distribute to a customer once checked.
Key Responsibilities
1. Work on the stock element of the company's ERP system
2. Work with production & inspection to progress parts through the business
3. Follow up on quotations
4. Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of orders
5. Materials booking in and out
6. Raise work orders
7. Control stock and tooling, auxiliary items, and materials
8. Pack and send manufactured parts to customers and 3rd party suppliers
Requirements
1. Experience with an ERP/MRP system
2. Goods in/out experience, arranging carriage, etc.
3. IT skills including MS Excel, Word, Outlook
4. Positive attitude with a “can do” approach to work
5. Strong organisational skills
6. Ability to work in a team environment
7. Excellent communication skills
8. Administration knowledge
