About the Property
Main Building
44 bed luxury hospitality driven residential nursing care.
Set over 7 floors, the roperty will cater to residential nursing care, memory care, respite and rehab/recovery.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
*
Follow a work schedule carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities across Loveday homes.
*
Groundswork (misc fencing, labouring etc)
*
Periodic inspection of condition of evacuation chairs in stairwells
*
Periodic inspection of condition of fire extinguishers
*
Water temperature testing
*
Emergency lighting testing
*
PAT Testing of portable appliances
*
Cleaning and maintaining entry/exit points (such as sweeping leaves, general touching up, polishing of ironmongery and signs)
*
Changing water filters on filtered water taps
*
Changing filters on air conditioning systems
*
Clearing gutters and drains (where accessible)
*
Receiving and inventorying deliveries, unpacking and storage
*
Moving/Handling heavy items
*
Assembly and Disassembly of furniture
*
Re-sealing joints (such as shower trays, skirting board/floor junctions)
*
Minor plumbing (such as fixing running WC’s and dripping taps)
*
Light joinery (such as replacing/repairing ironmongery, filling and sanding, oiling hinges etc)
*
Light electrical (such as changing light bulbs)
*
Decoration (painting, decorating, wallpaper hanging)
*
Patching and re-grouting of tiled surfaces
*
Safe handling of COSHH
*
Work in accordance with safety rules and procedures in line with H&S requirements and industry standard Regulations
*
Carry out remedial repair works in accordance with quoted works
*
Reviewing of risk assessment and method statements
*
Supervision and management of subcontractor activities carried out at Loveday homes.
*
Carrying out any other task that may be reasonably assigned to you.
Eligibility
In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must either be eligible to live and work in the UK or must obtain permits to work in the UK prior to application.
