People who enjoy getting things done with a focus on cost controls and profitability The Role: This is a great opportunity for an experienced Cost Manager, ideally from a utilities and construction background, to join Clancy and our Anglian Water contract. Assisting the Senior Commercial Manager in the development and implementation of the Anglian Water contract commercial strategy, you will be principally responsible for the accuracy of the cost allocation for the contract. Here are some the activities you will be involved in Accurate and timely management of cost allocation, establishing appropriate work breakdown structures and ensuring compliance Maintaining long term relationships with internal and external teams, inclusive of transfer of information, to ensure that relationships are maintained to meet the needs of the business and ensure integrated approach Analysis and review of costs using information management systems ensuring accuracy and rectifying identified inaccuracies Monitor costs trends against budget and proactively identify areas for further analysis and cost reduction Assist the commercial team during Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR), forecasting and budgeting periods Wider liaison with Finance, Procurement & Operations teams as required We would love to hear from you if You have a highly developed analytical and problem solving ability, able to expertly monitor costs and analyse data trends as well as most, if not all the following criteria; Developed commercial awareness Developed knowledge of a diverse range of contracts Advanced Excel skills Demonstrable experience of information management systems Developed communication skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfortable developing relationships with diverse stakeholders at all levels Our Company Every day we work smarter, greener and use our imaginations.
