Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for management of our global supply chains, ensuring stock levels are optimised ensuring continuity of supply to maximise sales whilst remaining within inventory targets.
Responsibilities
* Review of Global demand requirements via relevant systems.
* Managing inventory control to ensure correct stock levels are maintained.
* Purchase order management.
* Understand risks to supply chain and required mitigation.
* Freight tracking and import management (Land / Air and Sea).
* Cross functional working, forming relationships with key stakeholders across the business (customer service, R&D, quality, operations).
* Ensuring data integrity is maintained.
* Support implementation of new ERP system.
* Invoice validation and approval.
Skills
Essential
* Experience of working in purchasing / supply chain.
* Strong IT skills, Office 365 in particular.
* Experience of using MRP / ERP systems.
* The ability to multitask and prioritise workloads, work independently but also within a team or project.
* Is accountable and takes responsibility.
* Demonstrates a high level of integrity and professional ethics.
* The ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Desirable
* Netstock Experience (or similar).
* Experience of international imports and shipping.
* Supplier management / development experience.
* Sage X3 experience.
* Continuous improvement mindset.
