TimeFinders is an award-winning, family-run company of Senior Life Specialists, bridging the gap between the legal and financial professions and the care sector. We are NOT a care provider. We provide practical help and emotional support for older people and their families in changing circumstances.
Our approach and way of working with clients is exceptional and follows a dedicated person-led philosophy which respects, champions and supports older people to make their own decisions. Our TimeFinder Consultants have an eclectic mix of skills and natural qualities which enable them to support our clients in a wide variety of ways. Backgrounds include healthcare, teaching, social proscribing/work, housing, the third sector and the arts.
There really is no fixed set of qualifications which can prepare you to be a TimeFinder Consultant, nor do we require previous experience in any particular field. Full training and mentoring will be provided.
You will be working directly with our clients in their own homes, which may include residential care settings, with their families and professional advisers.

Main purpose of job:
You will be joining our small close team of TimeFinder Consultants, supporting our clients through the myriad challenges they face as they get older. We have a “whatever it takes” attitude to problem solving. We work creatively and collaboratively to empower our clients to make and implement the decisions necessary to live in the right place, at the right time with the right support. We are Advocates for our clients, ensuring that their voices are heard and their decisions respected. Whether this is changing their home, finding or managing care or providing emotional and practical support, we help our clients stay independent and in control for as long as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
* Help clients to understand their options, plan their futures and turn decisions into action.
* Work sensitively with clients to downsize their homes either to move or stay put.
* Support clients to organize and manage their household administration.
* Co-ordinate agencies such as care providers, estate agents, removals etc. on behalf of our clients and/or their attorneys.
* Be a positive expert and stimulating companion to our clients regardless of the situation.
* Advocate for our clients to ensure their wishes and decisions are implemented.

Remuneration:
The salary for the five hours per week training, communication and admin equates to £12.36 per hour. Client work is paid at £22.46 per hour. All Consultants receive paid holiday and full employee benefits, including a contributory pension scheme. Travel time is paid at the Non client (salary rate) rate. All business mileage is paid at 45 pence per mile.
