Consulting brings together multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client-centric solutions for RSM’s current and future clients within the middle market. Our Consulting team has a major role to play in driving forward the growth of the firm with over 1,700 people delivering almost £200m revenue.
At the heart of Consulting are the six solutions we offer our clients: business transformation, deal services, finance function support, risk and governance, forensic and investigation services, and restructuring. We are looking for an Accounting and Financial Reporting Manager who will support within our accounting and financial reporting team in our Milton Keynes, Guildford, Birmingham, Manchester, or Newcastle offices. You will be required to assist the Department Head in day-to-day management as well as managing your own portfolio of not-for-profit clients. You will take an active role in the growth of the department through identification of opportunities and associated business development activities.
You’ll make an impact by:
1. Managing a portfolio of not-for-profit clients, always providing a premium service, whilst taking an active role in the growth of the department through the identification of opportunities and associated business development activities.
2. Providing GAAP support and advisory services to our clients, supporting our (non-Audit) clients through their audit process.
3. Having a strong awareness of FRS102, FRS101 and Companies Act reporting requirements.
4. Managing relevant AFR teams’ performance, ensuring appropriate objectives set and development plans in place for junior members.
What we are looking for:
We value diverse experiences and perspectives. Here’s what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:
1. ACA or ACCA fully qualified, with at least three years PQE and one year experience of managing a full portfolio of clients.
2. Strong managerial skills and technical skills, with knowledge of FRS 102 and Companies Act reporting.
3. In depth understanding of UK financial reporting requirements.
4. Experience of managing a portfolio of clients within the not-for-profit sector.
