ADHD Support Assistant Position : ADHD Support Assistant Location : Preston Hours : Full-time, 8:45 am - 3:15 pm daily, Monday to Friday Salary : £12.90 per hour Are you passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives? We are seeking a dedicated ADHD Support Assistant to join our team and provide invaluable support to children across Key Stage 1 who have additional needs due to a diagnosis of ADHD. Role Responsibilities: - Provide one-on-one and small group support to children with ADHD in various educational settings. - Assist in implementing individualized support plans to meet the specific needs of each child. - Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages the social and academic development of children with ADHD. - Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to monitor progress and adjust support strategies as necessary. - Help promote positive Behavior and emotional regulation techniques tailored to the needs of children with ADHD. Requirements: - Previous experience working with children with ADHD is essential. - A compassionate and patient approach to supporting children with additional needs. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals. - Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and respond proactively to the needs of children.
