This is an apprenticeship role within dental nursing.
Its an 18-month government funded course through City & Guilds - Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing.
The job entails assisting the dentist, sterilising equipment, reception and any other ad hoc duties as may be required, providing efficient and reliable chair-side support to Practice Clinicians.
As an apprentice, you’ll work at the company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. You will be supported by Tempdent to achieve your qualification alongside your job role through virtual webinars and 121 remote assessor support.
To be eligible for this role you will need to have resided in the UK for the last 3 years and have already achieved Maths and English GCSES to a grade C/4 or above or equivalent courses.
Due to the nature of the role you will be required to pass a DBS check and be immunised against Hepatitis B.
Working hours will be based around the practice opening and working hours with the view to be flexible to meet the demands of the patients.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has a keen interest in kickstarting there career in this field and eager and committed to the training and qualification that comes along with the job role.
