Purpose of the Role:
To support the day-to-day coordination of Partner activity in the McLaren Racing portfolio, whilst assisting the wider partner base where required, such that the contractual rights are fully leveraged and maximised, while the long-term individual and company relationships are created and maintained.
Role Dimensions
1. Reports to Senior Manager, Partnerships.
2. Assist in the coordination and development of partnership activation plans.
3. Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, PR, events, etc.) and external partners to ensure timely execution of activities.
4. Manage administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, tracking budgets, and maintaining records.
5. Provide administrative support for partnership contracts and agreements.
6. The role is based at the McLaren Technology Centre, Woking, Surrey, UK, but may require flexibility in working hours.
Principal Accountabilities
7. Support the Senior Manager, Partnerships to ensure the successful coordination of partner’s 360 activation plans across:
- Partner events and activities, internal and external
- Activation campaigns, experiential or digital
- Appearances
- Experiential and display asset bookings
- Merchandise
8. Support with coordination across the wider Partnerships team as/when required.
9. Coordinate the executive engagement and gifting plan, maintaining all organisation charts and CRM data across day-to-day account
members, agencies and partner leadership teams.
10. Ensure that relationships are coordinated and maintained across stakeholders within partner organisations.
11. Apply the McLaren brand principles to ensure all activation is executed to high standards and all brand and regulatory guidelines are adhered to.
Job requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
12. Experience in event planning or coordination.
13. Strong organizational and time management skills.
14. Excellent attention to detail.
15. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
16. Ability to work well under pressure.
17. Keen problem solver, who enjoys tackling complex challenges and finding solutions.
18. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
19. Knowledge of the sports industry (preferred)

McLaren Racing is based at the iconic McLaren Technology Centre (MTC) near Woking. Here at McLaren, we offer hybrid working with 3 days a week based in the MTC.

The MTC is connected to Woking mainline station via regular shuttle buses, from which London Waterloo is a 30 minute train ride.
