Support Selwyn District Council's growth by processing resource consents and providing expert planning advice.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
* Undertake all process steps for resource consent applications and approvals.
* Provide timely and consistent Resource Management Act and District Plan advice.
* Prepare and present evidence as an expert witness.
* Deliver planning input for Land Information Memoranda and Building Consent processes.
* Identify and communicate potential policy issues and support plan changes and compliance matters.
About You
Candidates should possess:
* A tertiary qualification in Urban/Regional Planning, Resource Management, or a related discipline recognized by the NZPI.
* A customer-focused approach with problem-solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail and collaborative abilities in a fast-paced environment.
* Enthusiasm and a strong interest in planning for recent graduates.
