The Occupational Therapist in post will be working within a community adult mental health service, providing specialist assessment and treatment to service users with a range of mental health conditions. In this role you will assess, implement and develop an OT treatment programme according to the person's diagnosis and identified needs. Main duties of the job The post holder will: You will be able to manage a diverse caseload and work closely with the multi-disciplinary team, giving you the opportunity to work with CPNs, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Employment Specialists and Non-Medical Prescribers. You will utilise the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO) assessments that are used trust wide and will receive support and training in this. The post holder will: Be involved in service development and quality improvement projects, as we develop OT pathways across the organisation, build links with our partnership organisations in the community, develop our Individual Placement Support service and grow our peer support services, as we embed the Community Mental Health Framework across our teams.
