In your new role as a daily Janitor Operative you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work within a team and can work under their own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivery excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations. ➢ Maintaining standards within the building ➢ Checking furniture to ensure it is safe and functionable ➢ Cleaning of Tea point areas, changes bins, general tidiness. ➢ Cleaning reception area ➢ Liaise Security & Facilities when and where required ➢ Report Maintenance issues in all areas to the help desk, and monitor and help where required ➢ Organise and arrange conference room layout for meetings and visitors ➢ Assist with Hospitality in the building when required (deliveries and collection) ➢ Implement Room layout changes as requested through the booking platform ➢ Removal / Disassemble of faulty or broken equipment and furniture when required ➢ Review meeting rooms specifically looking at capacity, layout, removal of desks, identify room ➢ Daily / Weekly & Monthly building Audit Check ➢ Floor Checklist to be completed Daily ➢ Spot clean coffee stain carpets ➢ Daily check & tidy of the patio area & Smoke area. ➢ Floor Walk including filling/emptying of the dishwashers ➢ Top up coffee machines and keep the area clean and tidy In return we will offer you holiday entitlement, pension contributions, discount through MiDeals to over 850 high street retailers, cycle to work, options to buy extra holiday, save as you earn scheme, share incentive plan, recognition and wellbeing incentives such as Mitie Stars and many other benefits. In order to be successful in this role you will need have the ability to communicate and read basic English, previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential and have a flexible approach to the role.
