This is a full-time position, working term-time only (39 weeks per year).
We have Learning Centres at all of our Weston-super-Mare campuses, and you could be based at any of our sites.
Day to day of the role
Create and maintain a vibrant and inclusive workspace within our dedicated ‘LibraryPlus’.
Work proactively with college teams and external partners to provide a regular programme of events and workshops utilising the facilities, with appropriate marketing to drive student engagement.
Integrate learning resources into curriculum delivery through consultation and partnership with curriculum teams.
Be responsible for coordinating the daily function and activities of a designated learning centre.
Be responsible for the daily operational management of Learning Advisors as directed by the Head of Learning Centres.
Required skills and qualifications
Highly confident communicator with the ability to rapidly build relationships with customers.
Creativity and problem-solving skills to increase footfall and utilisation of services and resources.
Minimum two years customer service experience.
Work as part of a positive, flexible, and inclusive team to create a vibrant and supportive learning experience.
