Job Description
What you’ll do
With this role, you will be supporting a client who has a spinal cord injury. This client is a real thrill seeker, enjoys getting out and about, taking her dog for walks, and participating in activities within support groups she is involved in. She enjoys painting and gardening and is looking for care staff to share her passions with. Tasks in this role also include personal care and duties around her home.
This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant. You will receive full training and clinical support to develop and enhance skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care, plus much more! We care for and support people of all ages, in the community, and in their homes, with spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries, and many other complex needs. Every day will be different, and you’ll never know what challenges you’re about to face next. One thing you can be sure of, though, is that you’ll be making your clients’ days brighter while developing your skills and knowledge.
