2nd Line Support Engineer Location: Newmarket Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 An opportunity has opened for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join a specialist IT services company based in Newmarket. The ideal candidate will have strong experience of 2nd line support and have excellent phone and customer service manner. The company are offering 25 days holiday bank holidays and a hybrid working pattern after you have completed the 3 month probationary period. What they’re looking for: Experience working within 2nd Line support Strong Microsoft biased background Office 365, Azure and Active Directory administration experience Knowledge of Virtualisation – VMWare Maintenance and installation of Windows OS and servers Basic IT infrastructure knowledge Great phone manner and customer service 2nd Line Support Engineer Responsibilities: Providing IT support up to 2nd line Office 365, Azure and Active Directory administration Installation and admin of new systems Diagnosing software faults Daily checks on cloud software and external hardware Opportunity to work on client projects This company have a diverse client base, meaning that you will be able to work on a large variety of technologies.
