About the role This role is pivotal in driving our growth strategy by maximising customer relationships and is responsible for delivering a Gross Profit (GP) target. Additionally, this role requires strong collaboration skills to partner with various departments across the business including Marketing, Sales Support and Commercial. The Account Development team are responsible for introducing new lines of business to customers, ensuring they are aware of and taking advantage of the full range of Jigsaw24 products and services, and maximising lifetime value of customer. Key duties and responsibilities are : Account Development: Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients, identifying new share of wallet opportunities to upsell and cross-sell IT products and services. Achieve GP Targets: Meet and exceed individual GP targets through effective account management and business development activities. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities. Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and client interactions in the CRM system. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition process for customers. Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills. Stay current with Apple's training resources and certifications. Education, Skills, Knowledge and Experience: Experience: Proven experience in account development or sales, preferably within the IT or technology sector. Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools. Results-Oriented: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and achieving individual GP goals. Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of Apple products, including Mac, iPad, iPhone, and related software and services. Ability to articulate technical information to non-technical customers. Analytical: Ability to analyze market trends and data to make informed business decisions. Self-Motivated: Highly motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
