We are a small and friendly freestanding store in the busy but small city of St Andrews famous for its Golf and University.
We are looking for a part time (3 days minimum) optometrist to work in our busy free standing practice in St Andrews. We are flexible regarding hours and days but some weekend work will be required.
Our store has 2 testing rooms and OCT.
We have a fantastic experienced team of 8 with 5 optical consultants, trainee DO and 2 part time optometrists.
About the role
As an Optometrist with us you'll be providing excellent customer and patient care. Working alongside the Practice Manager, Optical Teams, and Clinical Governance Optometrists. You’ll create a culture where everyone is passionate about doing the right thing.
1. Using your passion for delivering patient care you'll work with colleagues to deliver a positive customer journey.
2. Bringing your vibrant personality into the day-to-day running of the practice – working with your colleagues to ensure everything runs smoothly.
3. Building longstanding relationships – not only with colleagues and customers but with healthcare professionals in the local community.
What you’ll need to have
* Fully qualified / soon to be GOC registered Optometrist
* Additional registration with the relevant NHS body
* Fluent speaking English
* Passion for patient care
