As a senior Mental Health Nurse you will play a crucial role in assessing, planning and implementing mental health care for your patient group. You will lead a team of Mental Health Nurses in the delivery of high-quality mental health services, whilst working alongside a multidisciplinary team of health care professionals. HMP Grampian is a high security prison for adult males and females. HMP Grampian is the only such facility in the northeast of the country. The establishment has 6 residential housing blocks. Housing male offenders; Banff Hall houses female offenders. Aberlour unit houses prisoners who have community access. Finally, Dyce Hall is the Separation & Re-Integration Unit We are in midst of rebuilding a robust Prison Nursing Team where there will be opportunities be a part of developing a strong nursing service within the ever-changing prison environment The post is shift based working 12 hours 0600-1830, 0945-2130 shifts Monday to Sunday. There is no night shift.
