The Audit Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and delivering high-quality audit engagements in Northampton. You will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects, ensuring that each audit meets our rigorous standards, and serving as a key point of contact for our clients. This role requires a strategic mindset, the ability to mentor teams, and a hands-on approach to managing both the technical and operational aspects of audit assignments.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of audit assignments from start to finish.
* Lead, coach, and develop audit teams to achieve high performance.
* Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and tailored advice.
* Ensure all audits comply with current regulatory standards and best practices.
* Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities for new engagements.
Qualifications & Skills:
* ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 5 years’ audit experience.
* Demonstrable leadership and project management skills.
