Job Title: Integration Capability Engineering Manager – (AVC IV&V)

What you’ll be doing:
* Provide leadership and management to the Active Vehicle Control (AVC) Integration Capabilities team for designing and delivering all Integration, Verification and Validation (IV&V) capabilities.
* Coordinate project teams across AVC sites (Barrow, Rochester, and Warton) in the management, planning and coordination of their activities.
* Provide advice and support to IV&V design and delivery leads and team members on the design and operation of the test capabilities.
* Ensure all rig programmes adhere to an appropriately tailored LCM process, with key stakeholders identified and reviews scheduled.
* Responsible for production of designs and evidence to satisfy capability / facility designs and implementation.
* Undertake technical reviews, verification and approval of engineering technical design, documentation and service delivery support practices, ensuring compliance with business, legislative and customer requirements.
* Manage coordination of monthly financial and progress reviews of rig build programmes and subsequent operation.
Your skills and experiences:
* BSc degree in Engineering or equivalent STEM-related subject.
* Experience of system Integration, Verification & Validation through to system certification / acceptance.
* Proven knowledge and experience in delivering IV&V solutions.
* Demonstrable knowledge and experience of requirements management.
* Experience in leading a team and engaging with stakeholders.
* MSc in an Engineering or STEM-related subject.
* Submarines domain knowledge.
* Chartered Engineer.
The AVC Systems team:
You will be part of the AVC team that is responsible for the design, build, commissioning and operation of multiple testing capabilities and facilities. These capabilities will prove the operation and performance of the AVC systems that control submarine platform manoeuvrability.
