Kelly Group is currently looking to recruit the very best talent and have a unique opportunity for a Motor Claims handler. As part of this role, you will be the first line support and manage motor claims in relation to all company vehicle accidents by communicating with insurance companies, the 3rd party, and Company drivers.
About the Role:
1. Prepare and review accident claim forms and related documents.
2. Investigate circumstances of all accidents to determine insurance liability.
3. Manage first notification of claims, fault & non-fault, from start to completion.
4. Raise invoices on non-fault claims to send to third party insurers and raise payments on fault claims where we have accepted liability.
5. Daily communication with insurance companies, solicitors, and all internal departments regarding ongoing claims.
6. Manage claims where we have offered our intervention services and follow up with the suppliers.
7. Arrange independent damage assessment of vehicles for insurance purposes.
8. Input and maintain accurate information on internal systems.
9. Liaise with all sites to obtain outstanding accident forms and photographs of all vehicles involved in accidents, along with any further supporting documentation.
10. Negotiate best possible claims settlement figures.
11. Collate and produce relevant claims reports for presentation to management (regular reports – Weekly Accident Summary).
12. Answer calls from our company drivers to discuss accidents and any potential excess applied to them.
13. Answer the 24-hour accident line during office hours.
14. Action & respond to all written correspondence received regarding Road Traffic Accident claims.
What we are looking for:
1. Cert CII preferable (or working towards).
2. Previous motor claims handling experience preferable.
3. Good organisation and time management skills.
