Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Support Administrator within the Executive Offices based at Salford. The post will support colleagues working with the Executive Team, Corporate Governance Team and Programme Assurance Office.
You will join the team to support with administrative duties including co-ordination of correspondence, maintaining spreadsheets and databases, supporting preparation of papers for meetings, and acting as key point of contact for the Executive Offices.
We are looking for an individual with a positive outlook, who has previous administrative experience, is self motivated and able to manage their own workload, work in a confidential manner and liaise with high level external stakeholders. You will have the ability to use word, excel and outlook, be willing to develop your skills to work in a fast paced environment and be flexible in your approach.
This role provides an excellent opportunity for someone who is willing to progress, as working with the Executive Team you will be exposed to a wide variety of areas and gain an understanding of how the organisation operates.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide administrative support to the Corporate Business Support Team which includes the Chairman and Chief Executive Office, Executive Assistants, Corporate Governance Team and Programme Assurance Office.
o To provide professional and confidential administration duties, within an ever changing and busy environment, to Senior Leadership Teams within the Executive Team portfolio and support the Executive Assistants with daily duties.
o Undertake general office duties as required, including filing, photocopying, collating and distributing information.
o To provide cover to the Executive Offices, in conjunction with the Executive Assistants.
o To undertake diary management as required.
o To support preparation of meeting papers.
o To attend meetings and minute discussion.
o To act as key point of contact, by receiving incoming telephone calls and greeting visitors to the Executive offices.
o To support new colleagues assisting with ID badge, car parking, orientation and induction.
o To input purchase orders.
o To manage the stationery supplies for the Department.
o Maintain spreadsheets to record complaints, purchase orders and correspondence.
o To co-ordinate and monitor the Matrix room booking system for the Exec Office Suite.

2. NVQ3 Administrtion or equivalent qualification / experience
