Level 2/3 SEND Teaching Assistant Rotherham, S63 £90 - £95 per day Start date: February 2025 Contract type: Temp - perm following 12 weeks successful temporary placement Working hours: Monday – Friday, term time only Unique School Solutions are supporting a small, community Primary School in the S63 area of Rotherham to appoint a Teaching Assistant who is comfortable working across the whole school, from EYFS to Y6. The job will be working within the classroom under the direction of the teacher, supporting all students including those with Special Educational Needs. The role is to start in February 2025 and for the right person could lead to a permanent job after 12 weeks. About the school:

Essential requirements for the role:
* Previous experience working within a school for a minimum of 3 months in the last 2 years
* Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
* Understanding of curriculum from EYFS through to Key Stage 2
* The ability to build rapport with young learners
* Understanding of Special Educational Needs, and working with children with a range of needs
* The ability to work under the direction of the class teachers as well as using own initiative
* Experience with Phonics is advantageous.
