About the Role
We’re seeking both Cover Supervisors and Supply Teachers to support schools across Reading and the surrounding areas.
In this role, you will:
• Supervise lessons and maintain a positive classroom atmosphere in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Manage student behaviour with confidence and empathy, ensuring a productive learning environment.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects or, where appropriate, take on subject-specific teaching.
• Adapt quickly to different classroom settings, fostering engagement and participation among students.
• Build strong relationships with students, supporting their personal and academic development.
For long-term placements, we can negotiate additional responsibilities and compensation, offering you the chance to take on a more traditional teaching role with enhanced duties.
