Job Description
3. Processing invoices and matching them with purchase orders
4. Performing account reconciliations
5. Managing supplier queries
6. Ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices
7. Assisting with monthly and yearly closure processes
8. Supporting the finance team with ad hoc tasks as required
9. Maintaining digital and physical financial records
10. Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations
The Successful Applicant
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
11. A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
12. Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
13. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
14. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
15. Strong written and verbal communication skills
16. Ability to work well as part of a team
