This role can be on a hybrid working basis, which means you will have the opportunity to spend time working both in the studio and at home. We can provide a comprehensive relocation support package as part of any offer, should you need to relocate.
WHAT’S THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Senior Graphic Designer (official title Senior Creative Designer) to join our Design Team. You will be a part of the wider Creative Services team, which consists of Creative Design, Marketing Art, Video, Motion Graphics and Audio, with your direct report being to the Design Team Lead. The successful candidate will lead, concept and deliver innovative and visually engaging creative across multiple game titles and touch points, including, but not limited to developing game brands, social images and marketing materials.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
* Delivering considered and creative work that both meets and exceeds our high-quality benchmark, with minimal support.
* Working on variable scale of projects, from developing brands, social content, event graphics, to the creation of digital campaign creative that stands out from the crowd.
* Conceptualising and delivering top-class brands for our games and implementing them across multiple touchpoints and platforms.
* Developing design concepts and solutions from brief to completion and adapt personal style to suit the brief/game needs.
* Collaborating with the Creative, Publishing and Development teams to plan, concept and deliver top class design solutions across both online and offline.
* Preparing design and artwork files to a digital reprographic standard ready for publication.
* Leading and assisting in the conception and presentation of designs.
* Helping define, breakdown, estimate and deliver complex and critical project/department work.
* Providing creative feedback on internal and external design assets.
* Mentoring, guiding and inspiring less experienced members of the team and the wider creative teams.
* Acting as brand guardian for all our game titles, championing consistency and quality.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
* A portfolio that demonstrates your varied skill sets with strong evidence of brand design and implementation, as well as digital design and typographic skills.
* A passion for design and a desire to progress and elevate the work produced to the next level.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Proactive and inquisitive mind to find innovative, creative results in the time given.
* Exceptional time management with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Confident working under pressure to tight deadlines.
* Attention to detail is essential.
* A degree in Graphic/Digital Design or another relevant qualification.
* Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).
* Understanding of digital media formats such as display ads, HTML emails, demonstrable experience in web and digital design.
