About the Role
In this role, you will support senior clients and their carers with:
1. Domestic Assistance: vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms and toilets, changing bed linen, clothes washing, dusting, and ironing in line with the client’s service plan.
2. Personal Care: showering, dressing, grooming.
3. Shopping Support and Individual Social Support: escorting clients on community outings e.g. shopping trips, excursions, lunches, appointments.
4. Food Preparation: light meal preparation and serving of meals.
5. Maintain client independence and safety: Monitor the well-being of clients and report any significant changes in health, behaviour, social conditions.
Skills & Experience
1. Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
2. Victorian Drivers licence.
3. Own vehicle for work use (comprehensively insured).
4. Current Level 2 First Aid/CPR training certificate.
5. Current employee Working with Children Card.
