Role: Aircraft Mechanic - A320 Specialist
Salary: Upon Application
Location: Gatwick
Shift Pattern: 5,5,4 - Days
Responsibilities -
* Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on multiple aircraft types in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company procedures.
* Carry out repairs and replacements of aircraft components, ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards whilst ensuring compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements.
* Assist in maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities in compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate closely with other engineering teams to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
* Manage parts and materials to ensure correct recording of their use.
* Ensure all work is performed in line with company procedures, best practices, and safety protocols.
* Support the station workload as requested.
Experience & Qualifications
* Have significant experience working as an aircraft maintenance mechanic, with a strong focus on A320 series aircraft, ideally the A321 PW1100.
* Have a good knowledge of the A321FAM systems and components, including avionics, powerplants, and airframe.
* Have experience with aircraft systems including avionics, structures, engines, and components.
* Ability to work well in a team, and on your own, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility to work on various shifts (including nights, weekends, and on-call if necessary).
* Willing to collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of aircraft maintenance tasks.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Right to work in the UK.
