Job Description:
You will be working for an award-winning leading firm of Accountants and Business Advisors operating across the UK, Nordics, and the USA. They have seen dramatic growth in recent years which has made them the 9th largest accountancy firm in the UK, and as a result of this growth, they are now looking to invest in their skills set even further.
Want a career where no two days are the same? Are you interested in working for a rapidly evolving company? Do you want to be supported by a learning and development team as you grow? As a NHS Payroll Specialist, you will manage the end-to-end payroll process and auto-enrollment compliance for a portfolio of clients, develop relationships with your clients ensuring effective communication with the wider offices, HMRC, and other third-party providers, and work as part of the wider team to review work produced by more junior team members and support the Payroll Manager.
You will need to have over two years’ experience dealing with NHS Payrolls (experience in a bureau environment would be highly desirable) and have end-to-end Payroll processing experience including pensions, benefits, and statutory payments. A knowledge of NHS Pension tiered contributions, NHS Pensions online administration including SD55 annual updates, AW8, RF12, Starters, SD55 Leavers is essential, and ideally, you will also have knowledge of Agenda for Change terms and conditions and Medical and Dental terms and conditions.
You will need to have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in both manual and system-based work and a natural ability to coordinate, prioritise and multitask with little supervision. You will have a strong customer-focused approach, the ability to handle customer queries by telephone and email, and be able to adapt to a highly changeable environment. An in-depth knowledge and understanding of payroll legislation, processing, and auto-enrollment regulations is required, and ideally, you will have or be studying towards a CIPP Foundation degree qualification.
In return, a competitive salary and benefits package is on offer, along with training and development opportunities for all employees. Benefits will include pension, 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, Agile Working, Life Assurance, and much more!
If this sounds like the sort of opportunity you would like to investigate further, please apply now and contact Debbie Stent directly on 07900 224915 for a confidential career discussion.
Please note: All applicants must have the right to work in the UK as sponsorship for overseas employees cannot be provided for this role.
