Angus+Mack design, make, and fit considered objects, specialising in bespoke feature staircases and fitted interiors across Scotland and the UK.
This is a full-time, on-site role for a CAD Designer / Maker at Angus+Mack located in Grantown-On-Spey. You will be responsible for designing and creating detailed architectural drawings and plans using computer-aided design [CAD] software. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to develop and refine designs, and ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will also assist in project coordination and documentation. Workshop and production experience is highly desirable.
Essentials —
Knowledge in cabinet making and design for production
Experience in Auto CAD, Vectorworks or SolidWorks
Excellent communication skills
A thorough understanding of architectural detailing
Qualifications —
Proficiency in computer-aided design [CAD] software, such as AutoCAD
Strong knowledge of architectural principles, building codes, and construction methods
Experience in preparing and interpreting architectural drawings and plans
Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise work
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
Associate degree or higher in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field

Salary — £30,000 per year, depending on experience
