Head of Fundraising

Our client is looking for a Head of Fundraising to join them on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role
As Head of Fundraising, you will lead on our client’s fundraising strategy, growing their income and developing their fundraising team.
Driving their fundraising operations, you will grow income focusing on the diversification of their supporter base and managing relationships with key supporters. You will also play an integral role in the strategic direction of the organisation, producing fundraising plans, strategies, and forecasts.
As a part of the Senior Management Team, you will manage and develop the fundraising team, setting targets and building an inclusive team culture which delivers results through innovation and collaboration.
Additionally, you will:
- Liaise with suppliers and external agencies
- Maximise participation, profile and income generation
- Lead on setting the fundraising budget and provide reports
About You
To be considered as Head of Fundraising, you will need:
- Proven track record of developing successful fundraising strategies that have generated income
- Experience in managing and developing fundraising staff and optimising performance
- Experience in delivering high-quality stewardship
- Experience in using CRM systems to prospect for support and steward existing relationships
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management and forecasting
- Knowledge of legislation and standards that impact raising funds
