About the Role:
BioTalent is partnering with a leading Contract Research Organization (CRO) that is seeking an experienced Market Access Consultant to support their growing portfolio of pharmaceutical and biotech clients. This contract role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-impact global market access projects, providing strategic guidance to optimize pricing, reimbursement, and market entry strategies across Europe.
This is a fully remote position open to experienced consultants based within the EU.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement market access strategies to support product launches and reimbursement pathways across key EU markets.
* Conduct pricing, reimbursement, and health economics analyses to guide client decision-making.
* Provide insights into HTA (Health Technology Assessment) submissions and payer engagement strategies.
* Support the development of value dossiers, payer value propositions, and budget impact models for pharmaceutical and biotech clients.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with regulatory, commercial, and clinical development teams to align market access strategies with overall product development.
* Monitor policy, regulatory, and competitive landscape changes to assess their impact on market access opportunities.
* Engage with payers, HTA bodies, and key stakeholders to gather insights and build relationships on behalf of clients.
Candidate Profile:
Qualifications & Experience:
* Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Health Economics, Market Access, Public Health, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field.
* Experience:
* Minimum 5+ years of experience in market access, pricing & reimbursement, or health economics within a CRO, consultancy, pharmaceutical, or biotech company.
* Proven experience with EU market access strategy development and knowledge of multiple healthcare systems.
* Experience with HTA processes, payer engagement, and value communication in key EU countries.
* Strong understanding of health economic models, budget impact analyses, and cost-effectiveness evaluations.
Skills & Attributes:
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
* Strong project management abilities, with experience handling multiple client engagements.
* Effective communication and presentation skills for interacting with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with global teams.
* Fluency in English is required; additional European language skills (e.g., French, German, Spanish, Italian) are a plus.
