Job summary As an InHealth PET-CT Radiographer/Technologist you will be undertaking PET CT imaging procedures efficiently and effectively for both the public and private sectors, adhering to best practice of radiographic technique. Maintaining a high level of professionalism and technical standard of work, complying with relevant codes of practice. Main duties of the job We are looking for someone who has: Knowledge of the requirements of a Radiographer/Technologists role in the care of patients, their visitors and carers, and to colleagues Safety awareness skills utilising imaging equipment The ability to demonstrate an appreciation of patient care and confidentiality Understanding of the implications of the Data Protection Act, Caldicott Principles and GDPR Carried out infection control training, manual handling and patient transfer training, health and safety awareness training, and basic life support training Computer literacy, with accurate data entry skills and attention to detail Good interpersonal skills The ability to work in a multidisciplinary team A specific interest in training and developing their PET-CT skills and those of others A willingness to participate in the individual performance appraisal review system Excellent communication skills written, verbal and listening You should apply if you have: BSc Radiography or BSc Nuclear Medicine or equivalent Previous experience within PET-CT or Nuclear Medicine.
