Public Sewer Services has been delivering high-quality drainage services across England for over 36 years. Specialising in the wastewater sector, we provide comprehensive solutions for sewer and drainage installation, renovation, repair, and maintenance.
We are looking for a skilled and hardworking Operative/Groundworker to join our team in Rochford. This role involves physically demanding outdoor work, including heavy lifting and hands-on tasks to undertake a wide range of groundworks and drainage tasks.
What you'll be doing:
* All aspects of deep drainage installation
* Manhole construction
* Concreting and block laying
* Kerb laying
* Hand digging and excavation work
* Working in confined spaces
* Heavy lifting and manual handling
What you'll need to bring:
Essential:
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Proven experience in manual, hands-on roles (e.g. drainage, groundworks, construction)
* CSCS Card
* Ability to support team leaders in problem-solving and decision-making
Desirable:
* Confined Spaces (City and Guilds)
* EUSR SHEA (Water - Multi-Utility)
* Street Works
* Emergency First Aid at Work Level 2
* Dumper Ticket
* 360 Excavator
* Cat & Genny Certification
