Role: Reception Teacher / ECTs are welcome Start Date: September 2024 1 Year Contract Full Time Job Opportunity: Reception Teacher/Early Career Teacher (ECT): We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Reception Teacher or Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality education and care to our youngest learners, ensuring they receive the best possible start to their educational journey. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, or currently undergoing Initial Teacher Training (ITT) leading to QTS for Early Career Teachers (ECTs). A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to providing them with a supportive and stimulating learning environment. Strong knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, with the ability to plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons and activities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Creativity and innovation in teaching methods, with a willingness to adapt and differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs of students. Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to participate in school-wide initiatives and training programs. An understanding of and commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within the school community. Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance and eligibility to work in the UK. Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons and learning experiences in accordance with the EYFS curriculum. Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all students feel safe, valued, and respected. Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents and implementing appropriate interventions where necessary. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the holistic development of students and contribute to the wider life of the school community. Build positive relationships with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on student progress and fostering a strong home-school partnership. Engage in professional development opportunities and reflective practice to continually improve teaching practice and enhance student outcomes.
