MAINRESPONSIBILITIES
Duties
* Handleenquiries for events via email or phone during the shiftcommunicate immediately and provide a reply or confirmation withina reasonable timeframe
* Take every opportunityto increase hotel revenues by upselling food and beverage androoms
* To create and carry out thepreparation of the function sheets and any amendments to them. Toensure that these amendments are issued to the head ofdepartments
* Manage and work within avariety of budgets and ensureeventsarealwaysprofitable
* Ensure aprompt input of reservations and data for all group enquiries& bookings
* Ensures a clearline of communication with other departments for special requestsor other reservationrelatedmatters
* Clear communication with allstaff in relation to all group relatedtopics
* Ensure Accor brand and companystandards are implemented andupdated
* Ensure security and safetyprocedures are updated andimplemented
* Promotes positive workingenvironment by developing positive teamspirit
* Providing outstanding customerservice
CustomerRelations
* Provide efficientfriendly and professional service to allguests
* Lead by example when attending to guestrequests. Show efficiency in constantly striving toprovide Total Customer Satisfaction
* Takeinitiative to ensure that interactions with our customers (internalor external) are positive and productive; call the Manager on Dutyif difficulties arise
* Work togetherwith trust so that colleagues and management meet the goals of thedepartment/Hotel
* Treat customers andcolleagues from all cultural groups with respect sensitivity andtransparency
* Take every opportunityto be a salesperson by actively selling special promotions andfacilities available within theHotel
