Together, we have partnered to recruit for the role of Marketing Category Manager on a contract basis to cover maternity leave, initially for 4 - 6 months.
Your new role
As Category Manager (Marketing) in the Procurement team, you will be working on end-to-end mini-sourcing projects, supporting within the PR & Creative areas across the UK & Europe, working with senior stakeholders and the central team, proactively developing and maintaining relationships and being seen as the subject-matter expert.
Working with the project list in place on PR and focusing on projects and pipeline within creative, developing strategies for your categories including views on current & future demand, spend, market, contract, and supplier performance.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Experience in a Marketing Category management role, within PR & Creative is preferable.
2. Full end-to-end sourcing experience and contract knowledge.
3. Effective communication and influencing skills.
4. Good organizational skills; able to manage timelines and deadlines.
5. Ability to commute to Weybridge on a hybrid basis, 3 days per week.
6. Commitment to a contract role, for 4 to 6 months, ideal start mid-February, paid on a daily rate basis.
