How you’ll fit in to the big picture ✨ As a Senior Support 3rd Line Engineer, you'll be the key technical expert, resolving complex issues and providing guidance to 1st and 2nd line teams. Your deep technical knowledge will support both internal teams and customers, ensuring high system performance, security, and innovation across our managed services. You'll drive continuous improvement and mentor others. What you’ll be doing Support and troubleshoot on-premises (VMware/HyperV) and cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP) Deploy and manage Microsoft Azure, 365, Entra ID, Intune, and related technologies Provide support to multiple public and private sector customers Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft software (Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL, Exchange) Implement secure configurations across various platforms Monitor and improve systems performance and security Manage VDI solutions (Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix, VMware, FSlogix, etc.) Lead low-impact projects for managed services customers Create and update support documentation (SOW, health checks, knowledge base) Act as technical lead and SME for select customers Provide technical support on managed services projects Participate in on-call rotations Mentor 1st and 2nd line teams Support backup, HA, and DR solutions (Azure Site Recovery, VEEAM, etc.) Strong problem-solving skills, delivering security solutions Adhere to ITIL V4 processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management) Ensure high availability of systems and infrastructure for managed service customers Engage in continuous professional development within IT What experience we think you’ll need One or more certifications required: Microsoft AZ900, AZ104, AZ305, AZ500, Citrix Certified Associate/Professional, VMware Certified Professional, Security-focused certification, ITIL Foundation/Proven experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows environments Experience in network, OS, storage device, and application (SQL Databases) administration and performance tuning Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Intune Strong knowledge of Microsoft OS (Windows 8/Windows Server 2016) Experience with virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix) Familiarity with monitoring systems (e.g., Logic Monitor) Experience with automation software is desirable Strong accuracy and attention to detail Effective ticket management skills Ability to mentor and up skill colleagues Familiarity with ITIL4 practices At boxxe we believe that business should be about more than just profits.
