We have a fantastic opportunity for a twilight Veterinary Surgeon wishing to join our dedicated OOH Emergency Veterinary Service (EVS), at our busy tier 3 hospital in Bristol, working 1 out of 3 weeks!

You will be required to work 7 shifts on followed by 14 shifts off, working 5PM-1AM Thursday to Thursday (we are happy to consider all or fewer shifts). This role would suit someone with experience of ECC work or someone wishing to pursue an interest in ECC within a fully supported environment.
In return you can expect a competitive salary commensurate with experience, generous CPD allowance, paid memberships and discounts and rewards. The full time equivalent salary for this role will be up to £55,000 dependent on experience, based on an average weekly working hours of 18.6 which is a salary of around £25,000 per year pro rata.

You will be joining a dedicated and hardworking team with access to excellent facilities including digital X-Ray, CT, MRI, blood pressure monitoring & ECG, on site laboratory, dental X-ray, ultrasound, and more. Be part of our team
You will work alongside the rest of the dedicated EVS team, including our Night Veterinary Surgeons, night and twilight Registered Veterinary nurses and a dedicated team of Care Assistants. You will be assisting the night vet providing overnight in-patient care at a dedicated 24-hour hospital, meaning the majority of our patients stay on site for the duration of their treatment. Our twilight team provides the essential support for the transition between day and night teams. The Emergency Veterinary Service works alongside the Rowe Veterinary Group, as well as providing OOH cover for numerous practices locally. As part of EVS you have access to the team at Rowe Veterinary Group for case support and guidance if needed.
The team at Rowe Veterinary Group are an experienced team of Veterinary Surgeons with many of the team holding certificates in Medicine, Surgery and Cardiology. You will also care for patients who are hospitalised by our Referral department in a variety of disciplines, including Medicine, Ophthalmology, Soft Tissue, Oncology, Orthopaedics, Neurology and Dentistry.
