Specialist Teacher of SEND Salary: £46,586- £51,763 Location: South East England – mostly school based/ with some home working Contract: Full-time, Permanentv This Council is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Specialist Teacher of SEND (SEMH focus) to join their growing, dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in providing expert support, advice, and guidance to schools, settings, families, and colleagues. Your work will directly impact the development of inclusive strategies, early identification of needs, effective interventions, and improved outcomes for children and young people with SEMH needs. Key responsibilities as the SEND Specialist Teacher: Delivering high-quality assessments and interventions for students with SEMH/SEND needs. Supporting schools in developing inclusive practice and emotional well-being strategies. Designing and modelling evidence-based interventions and behaviour management plans. Advising and training schools, settings, and families to build capacity and expertise. Working closely with education, health, and social care partners to ensure joined-up support.
