Deputy SENCo We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as the Deputy SENCo. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our pupils and their families, while being part of a dedicated and collaborative community. Working Monday to Friday 08:45 until 14:30 some flexibility may be considered for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Oversee medical paperwork, equipment, and organisation of medical training for staff Run lunchtime interventions to support pupil learning and well-being Complete Risk Assessments to ensure a safe and inclusive environment Support families with access to food banks and signpost them to relevant support agencies Conduct Family First Assessments Provide administrative support for SEND-related matters Work in liaison with the SEND Team Teach classes or groups as needed Qualifications and Experience: Qualified teacher status Experience working with children with special educational needs and disabilities Strong organisational and administrative skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to promoting inclusive practises and supporting the well-being of all pupils Desirable Qualities: Passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children and their families Ability to work collaboratively within a team Proactive and solution-oriented approach Empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by families Salary: M3 - M6 Why Join Bonneygrove Primary School?
