NFU Energy is one of the UK's leading energy consultancies. We provide advice and practical support to businesses, with a special focus on agriculture and horticulture. We work with government departments, industry organisations, utility companies and manufacturers.
We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager or Project Manager to join our team, primarily looking after a group of clients who have an exciting array of renewable technologies. Reporting to a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients to ensure that work is delivered to a high standard, within budget and expected timeframes.
Whilst it’s important to identify opportunities for upsells, the team’s primary focus is to build great long-term relationships, provide an excellent service and the best advice. Experience working in the energy sector is highly desirable, however experience of account/project management along with an interest in energy and a strong aptitude for understanding complex products and regulations will be considered.
Your role and responsibilities will include:
1. Client relationship management – building long term relationships with key clients
2. Project management and communication – creating project plans and monitoring progress
3. Resource planning and reporting – Liaising with delivery teams to ensure resource is allocated appropriately
4. Quality assurance – identifying opportunities for process improvements
To succeed in this role, you will have:
1. Demonstrable ability to build long term relationships with clients
2. Experience of project planning and management
3. Ability to remain calm under pressure
4. Excellent communication and customer liaison skills
You will also need to:
1. Be honest, open, and have the integrity and drive to provide excellent customer service

3. Offer the ability to initiate, establish, navigate, and nurture relationships with clients and stakeholders

5. Be able to communicate, both written and verbally in a concise, effective manner to the intended audience
In return you will receive a salary of circa £28,000 based on experience, 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays), plus company benefits including pension, group life assurance (3 times salary), NFU membership and more.
You will be based at our office in Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We support work-life balance and operate a hybrid working policy with a mixture of home and office working available, and access to mental health support.
