The North Mersey Stroke Service focuses on providing timely and specialist care for stroke patients from across the North Mersey area. It provides a wide range of services including acute stroke support and assessment, rehabilitation, and all aspects of inpatient care to patients from the Royal Liverpool University Hospital, Aintree University Hospital, Broadgreen Hospital, and Southport Hospital sites.

The merger of services will present a number of development opportunities for staff who are passionate about the care of stroke patients to further their careers in managerial, clinical roles, or advanced clinical roles.
The Acute Stroke Unit is a 34-bedded Acute Stroke Ward with Aintree Rehab patients. The Ward accounts for a wide range of services providing Acute stroke support and assessment, rehabilitation, and all aspects of inpatient care to patients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care. Work as a member of the Multi-disciplinary team providing patient-centered care.

Ward 33 Acute Stroke Unit at Aintree University Hospital is looking to recruit a Qualified Nurse to join our team. The Acute Stroke Unit is a 34-bedded Acute ward with Aintree Rehab patients. The Ward accounts for a wide range of services providing Acute stroke support and assessment, rehabilitation, and all aspects of inpatient care to patients.
We are a multidisciplinary department. The team consists of Doctors, Nurses, Health Care Assistants, and Therapists. We are looking for enthusiastic and hard-working individuals who want to be part of a fantastic and inclusive team.

The post holder will be involved in assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care. Provide information to patients/carers. Nurse-led falls clinic, assessing, identifying the risk factors to reduce the risk of further falls. Referrals to other disciplines.
