This is a site-based operations role that requires flexibility and the need for the right candidate to think on their feet and have strong experience in competitive socialising concepts. Assisting the General Manager, you will ideally have similar experience in operating a social competitive social/wet led business that includes working previously in the hospitality industry. Experience running a social competitive venue or leisure venue would be advantageous. Playbox will run a daily programme of bookings and this role will be key in assisting with the set-up and delivery of these fun and exciting leisure activities. Knowledge of bars, online booking systems and a personal license holder is essential. Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for: Liaising with staff and dealing with any operational concerns. Effective shift management of the on-site team. Delivering an exceptional customer experience. Have a good knowledge of the operations/maintenance of the leisure equipment including karaoke rooms. Assisting with the operations of the site and have full knowledge of the PLAYBOX booking systems. Monitoring and implementing health and safety systems. Sourcing best value and implementing efficiencies. Managing and assisting with the production and execution of bookings and events. Key Skills & Experience: Leadership and Management skills. Proven track record in managing a team. Excellent communication skills Time management and organisational skills. This is a busy and varied role and therefore you must be able to manage your time effectively. Proficient IT skills - must be able to work with various different software packages and platforms Adaptable and flexible.
