Maintenance Electrician | Commercial Environments | Mobile within Middlesbrough | D2D travel package | £40-50K per annum + van & package.
We are currently seeking a qualified Electrician with experience working in the commercial maintenance industry to work on a mobile basis in and around Middlesbrough.
As a Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), alongside fault finding and reactive maintenance duties across commercial electrical systems and environments. You will be working on a mobile basis, within a 50 mile radius of Middlesbrough, with majority of work being in Middlesbrough.
Package / What is on offer:
1. Competitive salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (£17.50 - £19.50 per hour) depending on experience.
2. Travel time paid D2D from home.
3. Standard employment hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.
4. Location: Middlesbrough and surrounding areas (50 mile radius).
5. Company Van + Fuel Card (full personal use allowed).
6. Paid overtime available.
7. Paid on-call rota; standby allowance + call out fee if called out.

Duties:
As a Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be carrying out the following on a day-to-day basis:
1. Planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance.
2. Travelling via van to a variety of commercial environments.
3. Providing detailed remedial reports of works completed / carried out.
4. Working with systems and carrying out duties such as; electrical fault finding, wiring, lighting (decorative, safety, security, internal/external etc), sockets, circuits, transformers, power distribution, power supplies to building services/HVAC equipment, fire alarm tests, installing electrical accessories (e.g., maglocks).
5. Be part of the company on-call rota 1 day per week.
Requirements:
1. Must be a fully qualified electrician, e.g., City and Guilds 236 Part 2 / City and Guilds 2330 Level 3 / NVQ Level 3 / Electro-technical Level 2 etc.
2. Must hold City and Guilds 18th edition.
3. Must hold a UK driving license with under 7 points.
4. Experience working within a maintenance role within commercial environments / with commercial systems is highly desirable.
5. Able to be on standby as part of the on-call rota 1 day per week.
