If so, apply today This would be a great job for a loss adjuster or buildings surveyor who is looking to utilise their expert insurance claims property repair knowledge, who is passionate about coaching and supporting others to continually improve performance for our customers. A bit about the job: The key purpose of this role is to motivate appropriate external suppliers and Aviva employees to make sustainable improvements in property repair claims performance where suppliers are involved. This will include using expertise to review performance and oversee actions that will improve service, accurate costing, safety and quality on all types of property claims (i.e. buildings & Contents suppliers). To do this, the role holder will use their technical knowledge and relationship management skills to identify opportunities and motivate others to change and improve quality. As part of our UKGI Claims Supply Chain Team, the successful candidate will be required to identify systemic issues as well as the development needs of individuals (often experts in their own right) and apply the appropriate coaching, training, best practice sharing and action planning to motivate them to embed sustainable improvements on all future claims that they manage. In turn, this will ensure ever improving alignment of performance to Aviva standards and requirements. The role will also provide assurance and context to senior management, to enable more holistic change to be made. Skills and experience we’re looking for: Technical property/buildings knowledge is essential, with a solid understanding of property claims from being out in the field. A people person mentality with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills. Strong verbal & written communication and stakeholder management skills. Real desire to make a difference for customers, with the ability to identify problems and drive change to improve customer experience. Cert CII /Dip CII, BDMA, HND/HNC Building studies, or Accreditation to CII, RICS, CIOB, CILA desirable.
