Advert
Nore Academy is a brand-new SEN school that has recently opened on the Isle of Sheppey.
We cater for young people aged 11-16 with a primary need of SEMH and other related areas of SEN such as ASD and communication difficulties. The first phase of opening, which is ongoing, will see approximately 48 pupils join across KS3 and 4 and then up to 72 by September 2025, many of whom may have been out of school for some time and desperately need support from ambitious, driven teaching and support staff who care deeply about pupils’ emotional as well as academic development.
As the school grows and develops there will be opportunity for roles to develop accordingly in order for us to meet the evolving needs of the school.
At Nore Academy, we believe that relationship building, empathy, and having uncompromisingly high expectations of our young people is crucial to positively engaging children who have emotionally based barriers to accessing learning opportunities.
