We're currently looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Communications Content Manager to join our Communications team. This is a hybrid role in a matrix environment, with the expectation for at least 1 day a week in our Sheffield, UK office.
You'll play a lead role in planning, designing and executing communications content across a range of channels, ensuring engaging and inspiring content that caters for the different audiences and supports Leviat's ambition.
Main responsibilities
* Design, implement and manage an overall editorial plan, ensuring content is aligned (internally/externally) and delivered to agreed schedules.
* Own the Leviat internal channel matrix, ensuring it is regularly reviewed and fit for purpose for our diverse audiences.
* Work in collaboration with regional/global teams to gather content and news stories and ensure they are prepared to support upcoming global content/activities.
* Produce high-quality content that engages and educates our target audience, including employee newsletters, announcements, video content, press releases/articles, whitepapers, blog posts, social media content and website copy.
* Experiment with, evaluate and optimise content formats to ensure Leviat messages reach, engage and inspire target audiences.
* Ensure internal communication messages are consistent and aligned with external messaging.
* Adopt an authentic storytelling approach to connect with audiences and the wider industry - positioning Leviat as an employer of choice and innovative market leader in the delivery of engineered solutions.
* Monitor and measure the effectiveness of all communications activity and channels.
* Engage and manage external suppliers to support content creation, as required.
* Support content development for ad-hoc project campaigns, as required.
* Support planning and execution of events, both employee and customer, virtual and in person.
* Collaborate with colleagues across Leviat and CRH to maximise content and support delivery.
Experience and qualifications
* To be a self-starter, able to comfortably manage your own workload and adapt to change.
* To have a communications/marketing qualification or equivalent work experience, preferably in an editorial/planning role.
* To be an experienced writer and editor, with an exceptional eye for detail and the ability to produce compelling content for a range of audiences.
* Experience in communications measurement and the ability to demonstrate campaign ROI.
* Developed project and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience of working in a matrixed organisation and communicating effectively with a diverse audience, where English is not the first language.
* A knowledge of the latest communications and/or marketing trends and best practices.
* To have technical experience of working across digital/social media platforms; video-editing and web design is not required but an advantage.
* To be fluent in English. Other languages (German, French, Dutch) are an advantage.
Some domestic or international travel may be required.
