Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can access the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone.

Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice in Cheltenham is Gloucestershire’s only inpatient unit for specialist palliative care.
We support people aged 18 and over who are living with life-limiting conditions such as cancer, heart failure and lung disease by combining specialist medical care for managing pain and other symptoms with other emotional, practical and spiritual support.
We are able to provide care on our inpatient unit, virtually and in person though our community hub and in people’s home though our Hospice at Home service.
About the Role:
The successful applicant will play an active role within our Community team, providing excellent personalised care, enabling patients to be cared for in their own homes surrounded by their families and loved ones. It's all about giving them the best possible quality of life.
The support we offer is tailored to meet individuals' medical, social, spiritual and emotional needs.
The service runs 7 days per week.
Shifts available are:
08:00 - 14:00
17:00 - 21:00
Split shifts are available and encouraged.
About you:
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Healthcare - *Essential*
- Full UK Driving License and access to a car - *Essential*
- Relevant experience in Palliative or End of Life Care is ideal however care experience in a similar setting is essential.
- You will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to work well within a team as well as on your own, use initiative, organise your workload and have excellent communication skills.
- You must be IT literate as this role requires remote working with a Laptop
